On the morning of May 16, 2026, at the National Convention Center, the 120th anniversary celebration of Vietnam National University, Hanoi and the ceremony to receive the First Class Labour Order were solemnly held in the presence of General Secretary and President Tô Lâm, alongside senior leaders of the Party and the State, partners, and representatives of domestic and international organizations.
The event marked the legacy and development of the first modern higher education model in Vietnam and Indochina, while reaffirming VNU Hanoi’s national role and responsibility in a new era of growth.
