RALLY TO LAUNCH THE 2026 NATIONAL DRUG PREVENTION ACTION MONTH

On the morning of June 27, 2026, the Rally to Launch the 2026 National Drug Prevention Action Month was held at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in Hanoi. Broadcast from the central venue, the event was joined simultaneously by 33 provinces and centrally governed cities, together with 3,312 communes, wards and special administrative zones across the country, demonstrating a unified commitment from central to local authorities in the fight against drug related crime.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Phạm Thị Thanh Trà, Chairwoman of the National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control; Senior Lieutenant General Nguyễn Văn Long, Deputy Minister of Public Security; together with leaders of ministries, government agencies, law enforcement authorities and thousands of participants.

More than a public awareness campaign, the event reaffirmed the determination of the entire political system and society to work together in building safe and healthy communities, advancing the shared goal of creating drug free communes, wards and special administrative zones across Vietnam.
