Held on June 7 and 8, 2026, at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers’ Union was successfully convened under the theme “Unity, Democracy, Breakthrough, Cooperation and Development.”
The official session was attended by National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn, Permanent Member of the Secretariat Trần Cẩm Tú, senior Party and State leaders, former leaders, and 600 distinguished delegates representing nearly 10 million officials, members, and farmers across the country. As a major national political event, the Congress marked a new chapter in the development of Vietnam’s farming community and the Vietnam Farmers’ Union amid the nation’s next phase of growth.
